Situated on the rugged cliffs at La Perouse, New South Wales Golf Club overlooks Botany Bay where Captain James Cook first sailed into Australia on the SS Endeavour in 1770. A Par 72 private golf club, designed by Dr. Alister MacKenzie, is a wonderful combination of undulating fairways, beautiful scenic vistas and a spectaular clubhouse which is a magnificent combination of traditional architecture and five star comfort.

Experience playing New South Wales Golf Club

As a private club and subject to special events, the club provides for limited guest access during weekdays.

Our aim is for all guests to enjoy their game. Due to the challenging nature of the course, the maximum handicap for men is 27 and for women is 36.

We would ask that all guests observe the Rules of the Game, and to pay close attention to the Club’s dress code.

No weekend times are available unless invited by a member. Bookings are essential and can be made by request through our website or directly with the office on +61 2 9661 4455 between the hours of 9am to 5.30pm daily. It is advisable to book as early as possible to secure a tee time, as these limited times do regularly book out.

Note: Greens maintenance (coring), tee and fairway scarification will be conducted from Sunday, 7 January to Tuesday, 9 January 2023.

Weddings Celebrations at New South Wales Golf Club

New South Wales Golf Club is a great venue for your wedding celebration.

It has all the facilities and surroundings needed to ensure that your day is a cherished success.

We work with you to plan the perfect event for you and your guests in one of Sydney’s most memorable setting.

The Club is part of Kamay Botany Bay National Park at La Perouse with spectacular ocean views and a tranquil setting.

The banquet room, prized for its natural light, has a seating capacity for up to 90 guests with a balcony extending completely around the exterior.

With a view to ensure your wedding reception runs smoothly, the experienced staff at New South Wales Golf Club are here to assist you in your planning. We can offer advice on seating arrangements, floral display, menu, music etc. There is sufficient onsite parking with security during the evening.

Our professional management reflects in the success of the day and ensures your total satisfaction. We invite you to an early planning meeting to discuss the different options available to you.

The dining room is open for viewings during:

Weekdays: 10:00am – 4:00pm
Saturday: 12:00pm – 4:00pm
Sunday: 10:00am – 4:00pm
