KENYON CUP
Established in 1928. Trophy donated by Mrs J. A. Kenyon at first AGM, July 1928.
TERMS OF COMPETITION
1. Eligibility
-All Amateur Women Members may play in the qualifying event.
2. Format
– Top 16 players from Stableford qualifying round to proceed to match play.
– Match play event where the number of strokes given between opponents is three quarters of their playing handicap difference and all strokes allocated according to the match play index.
– Green Championship course.
– The draw will determine the honour in each match.
– Matches to be played to the finish and if a match goes beyond the 18th hole, strokes will be given as they were in the first 18 holes (according to the match play index).
3. Handicap
– Matches will be played on current daily handicap.
4. Special Conditions
– The Kenyon Cup qualifying Stableford round will be held.
– Players who wish to qualify must mark their qualifying round scorecard.
– Following the qualifying round a Provisional Draw to be published on the Web Site
and the Captain’s Noticeboard in the Women’s Locker Room.
– Should a player not be able to compete her name will be removed from the draw and the next eligible player (e.g., qualifier 17 etc) will be included.
5. Carts
– 80 years of age or Medical Certificate Only.
6. Trophies
– Trophy presented at Presentation Evening.
