Senior Championships (Est. 1987)
Terms of Competition

1. Eligibility
– Scratch match play event open to Unrestricted Male Members aged over 55 years on the date of the first round – Saturday 11th October (excluding professional golfer category).
– Countback for 8th position (if required).
2. Format
– Black Championship Tees.
– 36 Hole qualifying over two stipulated rounds – Saturday 11th October & Saturday 18th October.
– Top 8 to qualify.
– 18-hole scratch match play knockout event.
3. Special Conditions
– In the event of a tie(s) the qualifier(s) will be determined by countback.
– Matches finishing ‘all-square’ go to sudden death.
4. Carts
– Players 60 years of age or over are permitted the use of locomotion, subject to
availability, as are players of any age who produce medical evidence to satisfy the Match
Committee as to injury or disability, when competing in the following events: Senior
Championship, Cape Banks Cup, Minmi Cup
5. Prizes
– Winner – $150.00 – Runner Up – $100.00

Senior Salver (Est. 1987)
Terms of Competition

1. Eligibility
– Handicap stroke play event open to Unrestricted Male Members aged over 55 years on the date of the first round – Saturday 11th October (excluding professional golfer
category).
2. Format
– Black Championship Tees.
– 36 Hole handicap stroke play event over two stipulated rounds – Saturday 11th October & Saturday 18th October.
3. Handicap
– All players will play off their daily handicaps on the day.
4. Special Conditions
– In the event of a tie(s) the winner will be determined by a countback.
5. Carts
– Players 60 years of age or over are permitted the use of locomotion, subject to
availability, as are players of any age who produce medical evidence to satisfy the Match
Committee as to injury or disability, when competing in the following events: Senior
Championship, Cape Banks Cup, Minmi Cup.
6. Prizes
– Winner – $50.
