BW FOURSOMES RD 1
1. Eligibility
-All Amateur Women Members are eligible to enter the Foursomes Event of the Day.
-To win the Foursomes Trophy teams must consist of 2 Sunday Medal Players.
2. Format
-Played in one grade on the Green course.
-Two stroke rounds over 18 holes (seeded draw in handicap order).
-Two players play as partners and use 1 ball. The partners hit off alternate tees (for 36 holes) and thereafter hit the ball alternatively during the play of each hole.
-Players hit off alternate tees for the 36-hole competition (the original order of play must be preserved throughout the competition).
-If either player incurs a penalty stroke, it does not alter the order of play.
3. Special Conditions
-Ties shall be decided on a sudden death play-off on holes 1,2,10 and 18
-All play from the 1st Tee.
-The tee order of play to be changed, between the first and second rounds. For 1st round Player A plays odd numbered tees, for 2nd round Player A plays off even tees.
-If one round is washed out the winners of the completed round will be the winners.
4. Carts
-Carts may be used. (80 years of age or Medical Certificate Only).
5. Prizes
-A prize to be awarded for the winners on each day of the competition.
-Overall Nett Foursomes winners will be awarded prizes and trophy to be presented at Presentation Evening.
6. Entries
-Players to enter on the golf booking section of the website.
