BW STROKE CLUB MEDAL RD 5

TERMS OF COMPETITION

1. Eligibility

All Amateur Women Members
Six players are required to contest an NSW Golf Club Medal in any grade.
Only one player in any grade is required to contest a Golf NSW Medal
18-hole stroke event.
Players are eligible for medals on either a Thursday or a Sunday and are required to nominate which Medal competition they will play in prior to the commencement of the golfing season.

2. Format

A Grade and B Grade play on the Green Championship course.
C Grade play on the Gold Championship course.
The Golf NSW Medal competition is a competition consisting of six nett stroke rounds, played in 3 Grades on a Thursday and one grade on Sunday.
The winner of the Golf NSW Medal in each Grade is the player returning the lowest nett aggregate of 3 scores at the end of 6 rounds. A Golf NSW Medal is not a ‘NSW Golf Club Monthly Medal’.
Once a player has commenced in her relevant grade, she shall remain in that grade for the duration of the Golf NSW Medal competition (6 rounds). All scores returned, irrespective of handicap changes, shall count for that Medal grade
In the event of a tie in any round in any grade for the Club Medal the winner will be decided on a count back.

Golf NSW Medals

There is a winner of a Golf NSW Medal for each Grade on Thursdays and one grade on Sundays. The winners are eligible to represent NSWGC in the Golf NSW Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medal events. Golf NSW medals are awarded on closing day. The Business Women’s winner of the Golf NSW Medal may represent NSWGC in the Golf NSW Medal event in her appropriate Grade.
