Gowrie Cup (Est. 1936)
Terms of Competition

1. Eligibility
– Open to Unrestricted Male Members (excluding professional golfer category).
– If a C Grade player elects to play in the Gowrie Cup, they must play off the championship
tee to qualify and in the match play section of the Gowrie Cup.
2. Format
– Black Championship tees
– 36 Hole qualifying over two stipulated rounds.
– Top 16 to qualify. In the event of a tie(s), the qualifier(s) will be determined by a count
back.
– 18-hole handicap match play knockout
– The final match will be over 36 holes
3. Handicap
– Competitors are required to play off their daily handicap on the day of the first round.
4. Special Conditions
– Tee times will be reserved on Sunday mornings for all matches
– Matches finishing ‘all-square’ go to sudden death
5. Carts
– Carts may be used. (Medical Certificate Only)
6. Prizes
– Winner – $100 – Runner Cup – $50
