La Perouse (A Reserve Grade) Cup
Terms of Competition

1. Eligibility
– Open to Unrestricted Male Members (excluding professional golfer category).
– Members with a G.A. handicap of 4.2 – 8.6 on the date of the first qualifying round.
2. Format
– 36-hole scratch qualifying over two stipulated rounds, with 8 to qualify for 18-hole
scratch match play knockout.
– The top 16 scratch qualifiers qualify for the Club Championship with the next eight
qualifiers qualifying for A Reserve. (A Reserve players will have the option to either play
in the Club Championship or La Perouse Cup).
– Qualifying: Black Championship Tees.
– Match Play: Black Championship Plates.
3. Handicap
– Scratch event.
– Handicaps to be frozen from first round of qualifying.
4. Special Conditions
– Qualifying to be determined by a count back.
– Matches finishing ‘all square’ go to sudden death.
– Tee Times set down by the Match Committee.
5. Carts
– Players must note ride on any form of transport during a stipulated round unless
authorised by the Match Committee.
6. Prize
– Winner $150 – Runner Up $100.00
